Naysayer. :eusa_doh:
I'll admit seasons 4-5 aren't the best, but seasons 1-3 are good.
Either you get it or you don't.

Thats what I tell people about the Brady Bunch movies! If you liked the show, you will hate the movies, but if you thought the show was stupid, you will get a big laugh out of the movies.

Just watched the movie this evening. (The first one) and laughed through the whole thing. I never get tired of it.

I like the series, too, but I like it because it's kitschy and hokey.

Me neither Tom.
I thought the first movie was a riot, and Gary Cole did a great job as Mike.
They REALLY made the oldest girl look similar to Marcia.
And who wouldn't want Jean Smart as their neighbor? :eyebrows:
The odd thing about it all, is the house set.
I swear some of it was saved from the original, but they don't have room to keep all of it for 25yrs or so, other shows/movies have to be made.
My only guess is that they brought back items in storage, and built the rest to match exactly like the old set.

So why do I watch the show?
Yes it's corny, but some episodes I enjoy.
Plus the items we see in the house bring back fond memories, whether it be kitchen items, the cars, the bicycles, etc.
One thing you'll notice that we don't have around anymore is at the back of their kitchen, above the counter top and below the cabinet.
Color paper towels (green to be exact).
See those in the stores lately? I know why they don't make them anymore.

I watch that show and am glad I made it through the 70s. It reminds me of the lousy clothes, cars, furnishings, styles and even paper towels they had back then. The 70s was the toilet bowl of style. :puke:

I am ashamed to admit I am watching The Curse of Oak Island. I remember hearing about the island back in the 60s, so I need to know if they find any thing.
