What was the last TV show you watched?

I don't know what episode you are referring to, but I've watched several (the star is oddly engaging, seems genuinely nice and passionate about cars and motorcycles), but I wish he was less into customizing or personalizing the restorations his shop does and was more into doing authentic, historically accurate restorations.

Of course, the customer is the one who decides, but "The Count" loves to do custom work (which is absolute his right), but for a show on the History Channel, it would seem better had they found a car restoration shop that specialized in authentic restorations (I'm guessing they are out there).

The other show, "Rick's Restorations," is a good example as Rick clearly prefers to restore something back to its original state unless the customer requests something else.

Last point, I'm amazed that "The Count" hasn't gotten beat up by someone that he has driven up to on the road, rolled down his window and asks to see their car. While he is always polite, he is aggressive and doesn't take no for an answer - it feels awkward at best and I'm amazed something bad hasn't happened (and hope it never does).

He is oddly enough engaging, probably because he is polite and passionate. I do dislike the bad scripting and acting especially where concerned with his drive-ups. I believe that they aren't just by chance and after a short while became annoying. I too would like to see a more classic type product, but realize that is not what most people want. Overall, it is an entertaining enough show.

Yep. Hit his head on the bottom of a swimming pool when 22 years old and severed his spinal cord...but,my,what an interesting life in spite of that.

Strangely enough, at the time he was studying to become a doctor and was working on the spine at the time. He knew he wasn't ever going to walk again but he still went on to become a doctor. Inspirational stuff.

Poor old Lucy. Everybody hates on Lucy, but back before her I Love Lucy days, Lucille Ball was quite a good actress, and quite a looker too I might add. I loved her in Dark Corner, her only film noir and one she herself hated.
