That space hippy was one of the better child actors of the mid-forties:

A Piece of the Action was fun, but The Way to Eden was tacky. It fit in with much of the third season. I like those funny, odd episodes sometimes, but Star Trek is best when it is more serious.

My all time favorite Star Trek dialogue comes from "Tribbles."

Bones: Does everything have to have a purpose to you? They're soft! They make a pleasant sound!

Spock: So would an ermine violin, Doctor -- but I see no purpose in having one.

And they say Spock had no sense of humor.

Spock in this one was even funnier---unintentionally:

American pickers kinda goofy but enjoyable non the less.
Can't stand the little fat guy - Frank. I was talking at the Rose Bowl swap with a few months back, and there was a group of people who had similar feelings about that smarmy little fella. I like Mike and the stuff they find. Just not the tactics. Oh well.

I've got 6 episodes on my DVR but no desire to watch them.
I have a MIL that says "well this whole thing is staged and planned out before they show it."
Yes, that's the job of the editor and producer...:D
Says the same thing about Pawn Stars, but I still like that one.

Most reality shows are staged, otherwise they'd be REALLY boring.
Example: Fishing shows. 4hrs of watching someone cast their line and drink beer is boring. The 3-4 times they have bites or actually reel one in, edited with commercials between them, makes for a much more interesting show.
Same thing with Pawn Stars, Axmen, Deadliest Catch, and American Pickers.
I agree though, what they find is very interesting sometimes.
