Is there some kind of Hitchcock anniversary or just a coincidence that yesterday, they aired The Birds here in Germany as well? I noticed that I still get really tense in some scenes, although I can virtually see the blue screen and know how all the trick scenes where made. Hitchcock was a sorcerer, wasn't he?!
Afterwards, I watched Friday the 13th for the first time. Not too bad, but still overrated, imho.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly uncut version with the cut scenes restored is definitely worth seeing. With the new scenes restored, the story makes more sense---especially Tuco's story.

Still watching City Streets with Gary Cooper. I watch about 30 minutes each morning of a movie, until it ends and then I start another one.
I can't just wake up and hear nothing in the morning.

Saw Man of Steel today, quite enjoyed it in a blockbuster-y kinda way. Pretty humourless though, as you'd expect from Christopher Nolan. And Superman doesn't wear his pants on the outside on this occasion too.
