As is too often anything by Cage in recent years. Maybe, I should watch Raising Arizona again, I might regain some faith in him. Also, the last time his hair looked somewhat okay.

That would be a huge improvement over the thing that now attempts to cover his dome. I wish he would go the toupee or at least Bruce Willis maybe even ToE route. He is so sad to look at.

I try to like Nick Cage's films, I really do. And some of them I have genuinely enjoyed. But I agree, some of his more recent ones have not been successes on any level.

It doesn't help much that he's part of the famous Coppola film-family. You'd think someone from a dynasty with so many generations of artistic talent would be able to whip up a decent film after so many failures.

Annual viewing of The Longest Day. I have a few favorite scenes, one of them being the carrier pigeons who head toward the Germans. The guy says, 'Damned traitors!" and I laugh and laugh.

The scenes with Priller Pips, the Luftwaffe pilot, also crack me up.
