An outstanding film called PRECIOUS. It could hardly have been better written, acted and filmed.

*Disclaimer: I know I'll get grief.
I hated that movie. It was just something that after I saw it, I couldn't find it in me to enjoy. Enjoy not the right term maybe, but how about appreciate? Just hated it.
* Opinion only. Not meant to start a flamewar :)

Don't feel too bad. I loathed "The Notebook" while everyone else I know thought it was a spectacular movie.

WHAT? How do you loathe a movie w/ Grant & Hepburn?

What's in that cup you're drinking?:eeek:

Interestingly, the New York Times movie review column also loathed the film when it first came out.

IMO, Hepburn was shrill; Grant was off-kilter; everyone was trying to holler over each other's heads at breakneck speed. It worked in THE FRONT PAGE and HIS GIRL FRIDAY. It doesn't work here at all. Oh, and the plot is a soppy, soggy mess, barely able to drag itself to the end.

Hepburn and Grant shrill? No kidding. :p

I think that's the point.

Hmmm.....
