Probably an unnecessary question, but are you familiar with Mac lipsticks? I'm looking for a wearable daily red that is not too dark but not too light, do you have a recommendation ? I would go to the Mac counter but the closest one is about 30 miles away and I can't get down there often.

I was going to wear fake eyelashes today but I couldn't find my Elf ones which are a little more natural, and the ones I could find are completely obvious...and I got glue in my eye which deterred me a little lol.

Has anyone tried the Estee Lauder lucidity setting powder? I've been reading reviews and really want to try it, but I'd like some real-life feedback if anyone has it. Thanks .

Have any of you tried Max Factor pancake foundation? I'm really interested in trying it and have read a lot of reviews but I'd be interested in hearing personal reviews from people I know are real .

I was recently at Sally's to pick up some new pin curl clips and I eyed the Palladio section and discovered that they have a Dual Wet/Dry powder foundation and decided to give it a try. I never thought I'd be able to get away without my liquid foundation! But oh my I can, lol. It has great coverage and because I'm oily, it really works with the foundation to make it look more natural than I've worn in years. Lol, well on to my makeup of the day:


-Acne control moisturizer
-Palladio Herbal Dual Wet&Dry foundation in Laurel Nude WD400
*Side note: This is herbal, oil free, not tested on animals and animal by-product free!
-Maybelline Mineral Finishing Powder in Translucent
-Eyeshadows from my Naked 2 pallette
-Hard Candy blush
-Bonne Bell highlighter and bronzer
-Maybelline classic mascara in black


I'm really excited about the Palladio foundation and pancake foundation in general for this summer! I always have to blot blot blot with my liquid but I think this is going to be a great foundation for summer! We'll have to see if it's sweat proof !

The weather is starting to warm up here, so I will test it out for a couple weeks and then report back . I want to try Max Factors pancake makeup too so I will write about my experiences too, see which works better!
