Well, my roommate and I get People and Glamour because the old tenants never changed their subscription. Trashy mags, of course, but fun to read.

I also read:

- Bitch (a feminist pop culture magazine)
- Bust (another feminist mag)
- Readymade (all about fun, kitschy DIY projects)
- Atomic (old issues, anyway)
- various hot rod magazines that my boyfriend gets
- Classic Style (I got a subscription for my boyfriend for Christmas -- he LOVES it!)

I used to subscribe to Be Unlimited, which was the only decent women's magazine I've ever come across (I don't like Vogue, Glamour, Marie-Claire et al) - unfortunately it went bust after 12 months. It was a real shame because it was intelligent, thought provoking, non-patronising and completely devoid of fashion and beauty articles!! :D

I read old Photoplay magazines. It's my favourite. As many as I buy off ebay, I guess you could say I have a "subscription"!! Hehe!

I was once sent a free copy of a zine called Bloody Beautiful. It was all about 20s and 30s culture and it came with an album of 30s music! I have no idea if anymore were ever published. That would be ashame if not -- it was BLOODY BEAUTIFUL.

CK Deluxe is a good one, too. Those are it for me. I'm more of a book person, I guess.

Concerning ICONS Magazine

I became nervous about the recent posts concerning contacting ICONS magazine. I called them today and a nice woman informed me the first issue would ship within 2 weeks. Hooray!

So, it's apparently not out of business though they seem a bit behind in getting the magazine to subscribers.

Cheers!

My first issue of Classic Style just arrived and it was well worth the wait! What an incredible job.

We all need to do whatever we can to keep this magazine alive. I have some friends who would enjoy it so I'm planning on gifting them subscriptions.

I showed the cover to my wife and said "Look, a magazine made just for me."

Every article a keeper! And the layout and design should win awards for its beauty and class!

I can't wait for issue #2.

I don't find time for too many more magazines.

You must not have time for much of anything with all those!:)

I have stacks of mags I've not had time to read.

I subscribe to about 3 or 4 cycling and fitness mags at a time, and
Consumer Reports for many many years.

I used to get GQ/Details/etc
also many years of Creem/Rolling Stone/Guitar Player

Used to also take Village Voice and The Nation but between freebies on the street and online, no need for that now.
