I have 6.5" wrists and hunted high and low for my mid-size (37mm) Omega. I'm happy I did! 39mm is too big for me. 45?!? Aye-yi-yi....

37mm is NOT a modern-day mid-size watch . . . 37mm is small. 40-43mm is modern-day mid-size, and 44+mm is large.

As a recovering WIS . . .

Haven't read that acronym in several years. I previously was an active participant on several watch forums (e.g., TZ, PPro and Paneristi).

I dunno - here is a 45mm PAM 190 on my scrawny 6.5" wrist.

Radiomirs wear much smaller than Luminors. I can pull off a 47mm Rad (and have owned several), but not a 47mm Luminor.

You get used to everything, seriously!
I've got old children's and men's watches from the 20's-60's and I love them on my wrist. They look small at first but I got used to it. And when I switch to my nomos tangente, which is not big either, it looks huuuuuge at first. Haha.

Btw: I'm not a "watch man", so no idea what WIS is, just got a great flea market seller in town who sells those antique beauties for almost nothing.

My preference is simple, understated whether jackets or watches. I think multiple people have said here that any forum would be boring if we all liked the same things. No question though my tastes have been altered by write ups and pictures presented by others. Ah the power of suggestion.
