This is a stick size 38 I've been sent to try on. As anticipated it is too small and I will need a size 40.
What I have to work out is how much length to add.
I know it's a short style and I like the feel of this fit. But I'm not sure where exactly it's supposed to sit. If the belt is our point of reference, then should it cover the whole belt and if so with how much overhang, or only partially cover the belt, or sit on top of the belt?
Of course fit is a personal thing. But I like the design of this jacket - the front is longer - and I wanna stay true to how the thing is intended to be worn as far as I can. That said, I'm not about to start wearing trousers up to my armpits just to accommodate it - so it's gonna have to fit in with the rest of my wardrobe, which is mainly modern style low rise jeans like those in the pics.
If you have an opinion great. And if that comes with a rationale of sorts even better.
last thing to add: in case it's not completely clear, on those close ups the tape measure for the front starts on 2" and for the back starts on 3"
Thanks chaps
