Been wearing this grainy aero lately. Aero zip sleeve hwyman requested extra grainy fqhh size 38 tapered to 36 body/hem. Should come standard like imo. Still plenty of room to layer.

Agreed! these non boxy highwayman (highwaymen) really look great. I know this one is a little different from the Sheene-Man...but Aero should really consider offering something like this stock. I think @Canuck Panda called it a 1940's fit

Ralphie and Richie were both loathe-able. Perfectly acted. Seeing Gus’ backstory in BCS changed it up for me a bit. But still satisfying. You know which on-screen death had me cheering? Ginger from Casino.
agreed! I have no issue saying that in cast of characters of murderers - there's something uniquely loathsome about duct tapping your own daughter to her bed so you can go out

What’s happening, fellas? How we doing? Haven’t posted fit pics for a while.

It’s Friday so my goomah wants to go out tonight. So this is gonna be the outfit.

Trying out something new with the picture. Got some Paulie Walnut stand going on here.

Nothing much with the fit. Just a lil two tone (just like Paulie's hair) with a popped collar and a nice shirt. Maybe a toque to keep my head warm. No tucked in shirt though. No 1950s costume vibe for once lol.

Think I’m gonna take her some place nice to eat then we catch a movie or something. She ain’t picky!

Hope you fellas have a good Friday night!
Love that jacket Nacho. Don't remember seeing it before, is it vintage?

Thank you, G. Yes it is.

I speculate that it was made by CSC for the catalogs.

The original label is gone, but I suspect it was either Sears Topline or the green Montgomery Ward with the whip based on the back design. Or just the original CSC label. Please see pics below.

Same jacket (button vs zip)

Sears Topline (pics belong to Terry). Terry found out that CSC made jackets for Sears Topline not long ago.

Green Montgomery Ward with the whip. It has the "Styled & Made in Cali" so CSC right there.

These two jackets have the same back as mine. You also find the same back design on the Snake Pliskken jacket - the one in the movie, mind you - as there are a few versions. And people here concluded that it was made by CSC.

I recognize the CSC jackets by the rectangular side adjusters.

Good eyes!

Yes, that too. Same thing with the Cat's Eyes when you pointed it out to me a while back.

That’s usually a back I associate with LA Sportogs. They also used the same rectangular D rings like CSC on some of their jackets.

CSC made jackets with that back as well but I think only for other labels if I’m not mistaken like that cats eye you pictured.

CSC and LA Sportogs are very closely related which makes sense since they were both LA based. They may have even gotten their hardware from the same place. They also both made the same jackets for the same companies. Here are two examples of a Sears Topline, two by LA Sportogs and one by CSC.

Now one by CSC. Note the double stitch around the hand warmer pocket, one of the CSC trademarks.

These pictures make me wonder if LA Sport Togs might just be a sub-division of CSC, that they were actually under the same entity.

CSC would focus on mass orders while LA Sport Togs specialized in a certain niche market of the time. Could very well be a possibility!

Exactly. The others at least have some sort of code. And the real life Ginger— Kristel Candelario. Horrible person.

I doubt that. They both are still pretty different and distinct in both the look/design of their jackets as well as construction. Just another example of two makers that were close in proximity to each other and probably copied each other all the time much like the various Bay Area makers like Block Bilt, Ralphs Pugh, Peter’s etc…

Really interesting discussion

@Nacho i own the same jacket as yours but with the zipper.. Doesn’t have a label and I’ve been wondering who might’ve made it.

Thanks to you and @jeo for the great info and photos :)
