The lack of inside pockets in some vintage jackets annoys me to no end, and I do not care about period correctness if I wear the jacket. Sorry about the rant, now on to some pics:
Thanks for posting those pics Will. Great looking jacket. They did a great job with your inside pocket. I am also on team inside pocket. I hope to send my 618 out to get an inside pocket added, maybe two. That is my main gripe with my Schott. The one they supply is kinda useless. lol.I’m the same as you, lack of inside pockets annoys me immensely.
CXL thickness for sure, at least 3.5oz.The leather looks superb! Heavy?
Thanks. Rainbow Country makes really nice stuff.Rainbow Country makes the nicest G-1’s, and that’s a real beauty.

Really like those engineer boots.
A gorgeous jacket and fits you well.Aero Premier Highwayman in Black Badalassi Steer. I recently gave this one the hot water treatment. I'm not necessarily recommending it. There will be shrinkage, but I've done it successfully with several Aero jackets.

Thank you mate! Much appreciated
The boots are from a brand I work for called ‘Bright Shoemakers’. We designed and set up the boot, on my suggestion, when I got hired. I think the result is pretty good. Glad you like them!
Mange tak!Just had a search on your boots Kenan, they look rather good. Tillykke!

Thank you @JMax for posting the link to this Windward in Finds and Deals. My first vintage jacket and it’s perfect—I’d wanted something that was lined and could function like a winter coat. It’s in amazing condition (likely a new mouton collar?) and fits perfectly with a sweater.
Cheers,
David

What pants (sweats?) are those? Look like they can go from couch to office casual without flinching and I love that.Aero Board Racer J100 in black CXFQHH View attachment 480901
