Superdry cross zip again.

After wearing it for for a walk with Mrs Barnabus at the weekend when it poured with rain and we got soaked, the sleeves on this seem to have gone berserk.

(Apologies for the horrible fleece again but I'm in the workshop today)

My older SuperDry jacket below again. it’s a nice warm comfortable riding jacket. I’ve had it for about 10 years. It’s held up pretty well considering it’s not made from the best materials.

Damn you! LOL! I was able to avoid this BR pea (but just BARELY). It looks superb! Looks like they did a nice job with the collar too.
Nice thing about a peacoat is it's so versatile. Suit to sweats, it's hard to go wrong. While I like this one a lot, the vintage one you've been rockin' is simply amazing. One of these days I'll get the nerve to dip back into the vintage market!

You were made for that jacket.
Thanks! I'm very happy.
Awesome! And it is the perfect riding jacket. But the design also works flawlessly off the bike. Perfect.
Thanks! It really is perfect. I haven't worn it out yet casually.
Oh, man. That jacket rocks! You rock!
Thanks! It's super cool and comfortable.

I felt cool on the bike in this jacket. It's the first time I felt like the leather jacket actually functioned as it should, covering my wrists, tappering into the gloves, windproof, and allowing mobility all around.

I am not surprised that @Carlos840 chooses LW to ride on his BMW.

Blanket lined Levi’s Type II 507xx?

A $30 vintage store find. Anyone identify its actual heritage?

What I can see about it:

Red label big E with LEVIS on both sides and trademark.

Lemon thread.

Selvedge on placket only.

Bar tack instead of rivets under pocket flap.

Iron buttons.

No LVC three number markings.

What remains of the label is leather not press card.

Nice one. All I know is that the type II was introduced in 1953 and that it was produced till 1962. Earlier ones had a leather label, later ones a paper label.

These originals are worth a lot of money.
