Thanks you so much for showing me around town and your jacket collection! I had a great time buddy!

Where do you guys live? It's freaking hot in Europe, no way you're able to wear any kind of jacket outside.

Yeah, same here in Croatia. I tried wearing a jacket yesterday late evening and failed miserably. Just unthinkable. I won't be seen in one for at least 3 months from now on, leather or denim. . .

Im in the E Midlands in the UK and it has been pretty cool this weekend - not so much on Friday when it was extremely hot and only a certified lunatic would have considered wearing any kind of jacket at all, let alone a leather one.

Just spent the last week in the Isle of Wight. Was able to wear an unlined, cotton jacket for the first half of the week, but from Wednesday it was ungodly hot. No more than a long-sleeve t-shirt much of the rest of the week. Welcome cool here in London yesterday and today... hoping for a drop of a good few degrees with the much-needed cool front due this week!

Miraculously last night, the part of Los Angeles I live in dipped down into the 50 f range (about 12c) in the late evening. Got a couple hours in my 118. No photo, but felt good for sure. Alas, tomorrow we are back to normal near 100f (37c).

I moved most of the leather jackets to the back of the closet and brought up my denim and cloth. I picked up a RRL 101j repro that I need to take a pic. Excellent. Kept the same pattern and design but added that ever so critical extra inch to the length. Typically even in the summer, late evening, you can still wear a light jacket if you're out and about. That desert air extends the season more than most people think.

Lol Okay, I'm looking at the ungodly heat in the Isle of Wight and Edward, you sure that's the same Isle of Wight? I'm seeing 20-something degrees Celsius tops over there while I've been roasting at 32C in shadow for the past three days...

We had a day of summer here in southern England on Friday, yesterday afternoon was 13c and I wanted to start crying… today 18c overcast with chilly winds… let me tell you that it ain’t that pleasant. To hell jackets, summer is for enjoying the sun, evening walks and eating outside with a t-shirt without shivering!

Wearing my new to me Swedish military dispatch riders jacket. This is not an original but a repro. I would guess goatskin based on the pebbly texture. Found this by chance in a vintage shop in Amsterdam two days ago.
I had one of those about 25 years ago.
Mine I bought at that time as a motorcycle jacket at Hein Gericke. But was very valuable and well made. Dumb that I left it to a buddy at the time ;-)

I really understand that they’re not everyone’s taste with the super boxy fit and huge sleeves. It has this utilitarian and functional feel to it. I really like it, but I like to have a variation of different fits in my collection.
You should have kept yours :)

Such a cool jacket!

Fun fact: Half an hour earlier @torfjord explained to me how he was perfectly content with his current line-up and that he really didn't feel the need to buy any more jackets.

North of 26C most of the week and closed in on 30+ on our last full day there - hellish enough for me. I have no use for weather over about 18C, and given my druthers I'd never again experience anything over 12....

Nice. I like these a lot, both in the leather and the (more commonly seen over here, but still rare enough) green cotton / canvas / textile. Good score. Plenty of room for Winter layering, too.

7 deg celcius here, damn coldest day so far. But I was able to wear my Aero twice so all good,

I could do with that for six months already, alas the hell of London Summer is only just beginning. I'll feel dead until at least October.
