Came in today and it Fits! Nice heavy wool. Love the Bell Shaped 40s Conmar Zipper pulls. These are so difficult to find and I don't know why. This style was all over the Catalogs. This one is in excellent condition.

Damn it. Should’ve jumped on that. That’s really nice Terry. I had a feeling it would work. Superb!

I had a feeling it would work too, just not out loud! Well, thanks to you and others for bringing this to my attention. You are typically more of a gambler and you have a "thing" for this style. Maybe just too obvious, too cheap a price? The presentation was good. I walked away too. I buy so many jackets and typically don't hesitate. I will pull out my complete collection of 4 short wool half-belts for a thread. I've got a ton of pictures I've harvested too.

Here is a Sportclad with the same Conmar zipper. Probably made by the same company. I'm hoping for a better fit this season. The Wool is more forgiving than leather.

Do you guys pick out your jacket a day ahead of time? I do that. This be my jacket for the next week. Cold and wet PNW, perfect opportunity for breaking in some stiff Chromexcel. The Aero Moonshiner is quite under rated. Very simple button front. Like a coach jacket with some extra oomph.

Great overall outfit; stellar jacket! Have to admit that the “Moonshiner” has never been on my radar, but I think that needs to change.

Your pictures are a colourful answer as to the “WHY” of CXL leather.

I try follow a set rotation trying to wear a different jacket each day and if it's really cold outside then I try to wear two just to continue breaking in the jackets. the moonshiner looks great and yours fit quite great, should look so much nicer once the cxl finally shapes up to your physique..

So this hunk of pink flesh showed up today, after spending the last few days in FedEx limbo.. ( ahh the old days when stuff was delivered on time)

the new size (46) is way better for me than the last jacket I had.. leather feels heavier too?

Not sure what to do with it yet..

*I couldn’t understand why the box weighed about 10lbs when I lifted it up.. MF included a phone book sized copy of Men’s File magazine..

Ive heard of it, but this is my first time seeing it.. really cool pictures but mostly in Japanese.

**.. after flipping through, it’s actually 2 magazines, men’s file which is in English and Clutch magazine which is mostly not.

both are worth your time to check out
