Love that man! I think I’m going to throw this guy on the back of my indigo Brave Star.

Fidelity café racer today. Turned out a wee bit warm for it on the way home a "vented" jacket would have been better.
Apparently from the 70's this jacket is in very good order indeed.

There is a "quilted/padded" lining in this. I had to dash out on the bike again to a meeting once home and wore my Simmons Bilt Nebraska with a thinner cotton lining.

Reached 28C and you feel the heat from the engine at the lights , that's when any jacket would be "hot".

Oh yes , "same old same old" Indian Ocean backdrop. Stiil COVID locked and can't quite get to the Pacific...

I need to know everything about this jacket.

It's a revamped Mojave. John stopped doing them for about eleven years prior until a customer wanted one. This was his test jacket to double check the pattern. It differs from the original Mojave with the addition of button-epaulets, and I think he played around with the chest zipper angle.

It's a reddish (cordovan) mid-heavy cowhide. Lightweight wool liner, light sateen sleeves I believe. He used vintage labels. Basically what Aero markets as their "Bootlegger" but the GW version, with the deco back and adjustable side straps. Cool strawberry and olive thread/accents used intermittently. 11/10. A more relaxed fit with this one. Classy. Needs a suit and tie like the 30s advertisements. I'm a horrible model.

I guess I wanted one in 2014 lol.

Wanted to say this, you definitely need to dress up with this bad boi. The jacket reminded me immediately of the 50's Sears catalog art where people'd be all dressed up under the leather jackets. It's got class. Definitely not the kind of jacket you throw on over a T-shirt.
