What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I think it fits you fine. The low perspective of the photo exaggerates the effect in both series of photos. I personally have no problem with the lower part of the belt showing beneath either in front or back. The higher rise jeans makes the problem go away if you personally find it problematic. I love the slighly comfortable fit through the body and I really like the sleeves.
Perhaps this is really a problem of low landing..as for the jacket itself, I really like it, just for some reason it suddenly seemed to me that it was short and as I now understand it is directly related to modern jeans.))

A bit of front drop wouldn’t harm on this pattern. From the side you can also see that the jacket seems to be slightly rotated towards the back with the front riding up. Overall I still think it doesn’t look bad on you.

You can wear high rise trousers to alleviate the issue but... do you always want to wear high rise trousers?

This jacket is still on the floor, as it was a year ago when I bought it this is also important, it is not used every day much more often I wear my aero Cheyenne. I don't have many high-waisted jeans I will experiment with a half belt. In any case, you have dispelled my doubts.

Taking a break from breaking in my natural vegtan cow, suddenly everything felt like pajama top.

My oldest son is the same. I blame it on Peppa pig.

So that’s it huh? He did go through a Peppa phase about a year ago.

I have worn mine out walking in a downpour for almost an hour and I was bone dry when I got home. If I ever try surfing again I might see how the thing does as part of a wetsuit.

Absolutely. I had on a white T underneath, totally dry. My pants, boots, b-ball cap were soaked. Even my eyebrows were soaked.

I just picked up this very old Avirex G-1 (1979 vintage!) off the ‘Bay for $80. The super grainy goatskin of the Avirex jacket is the exact same color and weight as on my 1941 Willis & Geiger M-422a!
Avirex started making repro WWII jackets in 1975 and back then their quality, materials and detailing were excellent. Sad how the company ended up.
