Awesome! Looks like one of these „artificially aged“ jackets on japanese Insta pages.
This is Vicenza leather, right? TBH, I make sure to wear Horweens CXL in the pouring rain. Shrugs the water off effortlessly.

Yes, Vincenza - I was very surprised - I knew that it broke in quickly but I guess the thorough soaking as I wandered round kwithour my house keys helped. I carried on wearing it for the rest of the day once Id got back home just so it didn't dry out of shape

First snow of the season; actually a mix of snow, freezing rain, sleet, etc. Willis & Geiger G-1 with thick wool turtleneck to fend off the cold.

I always have a question on G-1, why it doesn't has warmer lining like quilted or wool since it is a winter jacket (fur collar)? It doesn't make sense.

The G-1 is classified as an “intermediate” flying jacket. Back in the day (WWII), the Navy had a cotton summer flight jacket, the M-421, an intermediate jacket, the leather M-422a (later called the G-1) and a winter flight jacket, the sheepskin M-444/M-445.
Now the Navy has Nomex and Aramid fire-resistant textile jackets but the G-1 is still labeled as “intermediate”.
