That Cal is glorious. Supposed to be cooler tomorrow, I will sport my newest one for the ride to work.
Thanks man. That one was my first cross zip after hanging round you jacket folk. Gotta admit...started out right!!
Each Cal i’ve gotten is a smidge different but this one is my Kong.

It’s true man. I might be banned from here on out. But I’ll fall on the sword of heavy denim. It’s like wearing your dreams.

But I don’t believe me either.
Right on Ton! The jacket looks great and I thought about ordering this one myself a few weeks ago when I first came across it. I have been wearing my Ciano Farmer denim jacket more these last couple weeks because with the wool liner it’s one of the warmest jackets I own.
I think you might find that you can divide your time pretty evenly between denim and leather and that way everybody’s happy

Yes indeed. But if I’m not over the top obsessing to the point of sheer madness....I’m not happy. That’s where I hang my hat in this sickness. LOL.

A bit more dressy than usual with leather jackets but the Norfolk calls for it. Found it a while ago on Ebay, I believe it is 60s or so from the US.

PS: I closed the cat by accident for like a couple hours inside the room where I had the jacket lying on the bed, she peed all over the bottom area and I had to wash it by hand with water and lexol leather cleaner to then condition it. Fortunately the jacket doesn't smell but it isn't as smooth as it was, more rumpled look and it shrinked just a tad bit in some areas, oh well!

That's a bad kitty cat!!!

@AbbaDatDeHat

I think this one is comparable to your Kong. My other ones, like yours, are different. Awesome, but different. Here is an example (this one smells so good though lol).

I hear you J! My other black one, lil Kong i guess, is actually in better condition but doesn’t have the scent as Kong does. Then again it hasn’t been to the Pecard Spa either. It will be interesting to see if that’s part of it??
I’ve got that old Vanson E that has a smell and feel that is amazing! I can’t describe it. Kinda a cross between Dove soap and lady smells. Idk But killer!!
Your Kongs are righteous!!

Best lunch break ever!
I need 1 black belt loop for a Cal. Ideas?
B

Maybe contact Cal and see what they can do. If not, Johnson Leathers. I used my local guy to replace a belt loop that ripped on my Vanson Force. The leather he used was thicker and firmer than the loops Vanson attached. Definitely better loops but if one looks closely the difference is noticeable. That said, no one has ever mentioned the different loop. I bet you would have the same "issue" with JL and probably even Cal-- if that is a concern of yours. I would not care. Another option is to purchase an old and rundown CL for cheap and use it for spare parts.
