This is on my end game list. One day I will own one! One thing Ive often wondered is how the bulk of Stuarts 4oz horse affects sizing. Obviously the style and design of the jacket are most vitol to sizing, but so do liners and the thickness of the leather itself. Did you have to do any sizing up because of this?

I had a Suburban and a Ryder in size 42. Both in 4 oz plus. The Ryder was a little tighter- Stuart commented it was because of the 4 oz Plus. The leather thickness will affect fit. Not compensated for in sizing.

The brotherhood of LW owners on this forum has set some pretty loft expectations for the LW jacket. I was cautiously optimistic. After receiving and wearing, I have to agree, this is a pretty special jacket.

Congratulations! It will became softer(the leather still feel strong and dense, it's just more pliable, their HH is most special hide for me) after serious wearing(about two years).

I agree...Stu's hide is insanely dense feeling...it's not like anything else that I've handled. Really spectacular and feels indestructible...
