Not many jacket days left in Texas, today I am wearing my new-to-me, originally inexpensive, A-2 jacket. I picked up a broken-in Cooper A-2 jacket because it was dirt cheap. It is in decent shape and fits me like a glove, but . . . the knits were shot (no holes, but no elastic left). So, I ordered some brick red knits from overseas (more $$ than regular replacement knits) and had Siggy paint a 755th BS patch for me. Once the knits arrived, I dropped them off with my reasonably-priced tailor that has worked on my other leather jackets - and did not ask what a replacing the cuffs and waistband would run - I should have! While I am certainly happy with the final product, I probably could have just ordered a new jacket from Eastman at this point!

The large number of large pockets makes this very handy for bike outings when I don't want to take luggage with me.
And in the late afternoon it was my thrift store find of the day. Custom tailored suede leather blazer

Agreed. I left many years past behind me to have a role model and I can never wear like him, come near him. But he is one among many.Best dressed person in my opinion. You are so my role model. When I grow up, I wanna be you, Michael! Seriously, I would love to see more people having the courage to dress well and colorful and just all around cool...

Thanks A-1. Growing up is overrated in my opinion, so I try not to. By the way, I have a serious covet for your new A-1. Perfect combo of wool and leather colors and textures.
