I don't know how many jackets I've seen you in, with all your pics, and videos, but MAN this is the nicest, best fitting, coolest look one yet! When the weather turns bad, I turn to Lost Worlds Test.
98 degrees in Oakland today, too hot to wear any jacket. Gave me a chance to soak the Himel Heron in the sun, try and get rid of the weird smell. Sure is a beautiful jacket. Emailed Himel, they said "Honestly any sewer could reattach those buttons as for the smell..try fabreeze spray". I am assuming they meant on the lining only and not the leather What does everyone use on the leather, Pecard or something? Should I treat the leather?
OK, this should probably be on another thread, sorry if I am not following proper forum protocol.
Here are some fit pics of the Jacket I would have worn today. I have been told I have serious high water sleeves and should consider trading this in. What do you guys think. Even though I haven't actually worn it yet, the more I see it and try it on, the more I love it. But how bad are the short sleeves? Ok guys, lets hear it!

Sleeves look ok to me - what’s the jacket smell of? Hopefully not cat pee

Smells very musty, like mildew or mold. Practically emptied a whole bottle of fabreze on it, and baked it in the sun for 2 days off and on, as I can't exactly leave a jacket like this lying around in Oakland. Smells up the whole apartment.
Should I treat the leather, with what is that stuff everyone talks about, Picard?
The leather is beautiful, and what a unique jacket. I think it is truly something special from my limited experience.
It's hard to tell where the sleeve actually hits you in those pics. From my past experience if I even ask myself if the sleeves are too short...I already know the answer.98 degrees in Oakland today, too hot to wear any jacket. From the look of the background, I presume it's a geology lab? Great jacket BTW.I’m breaking out my Aero D-1 on this chilly, 37 degree day! And the heat in the lab isn't quite on yet, so an indoor shot felt right.
You can also get them on AmazonI see a couple of companies out of the UK selling Buffalo Levi's Truckers on ebay that are made in india.

Anyone actually seen or handled one of these? I still would prefer riveted buttons rather than snaps. They claim that these are brand new and genuine levi's, and that they are an authorized seller of Levi's. They have them in small through xx large, but no information on exact size.
Wadda ya think?

Looking good, as usual. That one piece back is a dead give away that it is getting on in years. Not sure when they changed. The goatskin sure holds up forever. Very Nice!Chilly here this morning too. LL Bean goatskin A-2 type.
