I know there's not a lot of love for Simmons and Bilt here but I really wanted this jacket/style in black shinki so Areo wasn't a option, anyway this arrived the other day and exceeds all my expectations the leather is incredible hard to take it off it's just such a easy jacket to wear - cheers

But really, no. They're just very different beasts in design. And the Shinki is so different from the Italian HH. It's incredible. The Italian Horse is very pliable. I mean really pliable and soft. And it will never deliver the same kind of creases the Shinki does. Nothing will ever beat the DD. It will stay with me forever. Not so sure about any other jacket I own. Haha.

Sudden cold snap?? Not really, but it was cool enough this morning to try on a couple of summer acquisitions. New Zealand made Canterbury Leather shearling toggle coat and a pair of unknown maker heavy wool button fly herringbone pants.
