View attachment 163743 View attachment 163744 Couple of pics of Vanson Cheyenne. Cuffs not snapped. All buttoned up for the photo. Cool jacket and will likely be my hanging out, off-the-bike selection. @Monitor

Too cool! Fit is spot on. I haven't had a clue how fitted these are supposed to be. Mine looks like crap compared to it. You can put a check mark next to a Leather Lee 101J on the must have jackets list.

Yeah man. With Vanson it’s pretty simple for me- 42 for fitted and 44 for a hoodie or sweatshirt underneath. Being in S. Fl most of my Vanson are 42. I recall that your Cheyenne fit great too. This one hits my belt but with movement you can see my buckle. I like that though. I don’t mind if the buckle shows here and there. To my eye short is better than too long. Others certainly disagree and that’s all good. For better or worse we are all...huh, leather bros.

Cool...Cool....and Cool!
Is that collar different in some way? Smaller?
Love the Mouton!

Standard collar. It’s got a good bit of wear due to my full face helmet rubbing it. Same wear starting starting on the cuffs. If I wore this all the time it would look much better. Hmm, maybe I should.

Today...i thought i’d give the Vanson Pullover a go. Very comfortable...once you get it on. Lined sleeves and upper half of the body helps with ons and offs.
No idea what decades produced. Any ideas??
Be well. Bowen

When i contacted Vanson to ask them they told me they were mostly sold in the 90s. They stopped making them mid 2000s. The leather used is black chap leaher.

Just arrived, so I had to try it on: Oakbrook D-Pocket jacket, probably from the 60ies. Similar to CHP Jacket. There are two tiny holes on the D-Pocket, could be for a badge -so maybe it was used as a Police jacket at some point. I love how somebody repaired a lost zip puller by hanging a Motorcycle chain link to it. Zippers are all Talon. Needs some Hide Rejuvenator as its a bit dry, but not too bad. If anyone has more info on Oakbrook, happy for any info.

Very cool jacket and I also like the chain link for a pull. I believe the Sears “Oakbrook” jackets are 1960s. The leather is said to be better than on the later “Leather Shop” jackets.
