Hey Bowen, wound up getting the twin to your Vanson CR. This one must have been worn a lot as there is some great patina and the hide is pretty supple. Love this color!

Wearing the NOS Schott 674SM steerhide today. Built like a tank, squeaks like I’m a one man walking debating/yelling townhall meeting.

Just got this off the ‘Bay: Gibson and Barnes F-82 jacket (A-2 front, G-1 back) that was worn as a uniform jacket by an American Airlines pilot (pilot’s name and license number embroidered on tag in pocket). Well-made jacket of black goatskin, deep side-entry hand warmer pockets, two inside pockets and that beautiful embroidery of the AA logo inside.

Special thanks to my Nordic brother @torfjord for selling me his bootlegger and allowing me to be a CXL Chris Kringle. This jacket is really nicely designed. The Irvin collar is sublime and while it's about 1" shorter in the body (25.5) and 1/2" (26") in the sleeve than my usual specs I think it's a fairly good fit (tag 40"). The fit to me is much more like the classic Aero M/C jacket and less like the other BL's I've owned. There's about a 4" drop from chest to waist giving it a much more V shaped fit. I'm considering a custom build, in a size 42" w/ the exact same specs.

That is a fantastic jacket. Collar really pops and adds a lot of texture. Excellent specs on that bootlegger!
