I bought this stand collar blazer few months back, I think I'm going to "borrow" its design & measurement to base my future racer jacket (sans shoulder pad), I think everything else fit me quite good, I like the collar too, the front yoke comes as a nice guiding line for angled chest pockets.
Today it's too hot to wear leather jacket so I decided to wear my WAC M-65 from 1977, I found it in a military surplus 15 years ago, I don't know if it's true but the vendor told me sometime soldiers embroidered their jackets with picture representing where they were stationed.
The russet Vicenza BR is somewhat similar to my russet Vicenza Sheene that also has the smooth HH. @xmr your BR appears to be a perfect fit and really like the overall look
My Sheene is a 42 with 2" added to the circumference of the waist (1"each side panel) and a bit added to the sleeves as I have long arms, and the closest thing to a bespoke garment for me ever. Selfie taken just after I got it. Wore it this morning but too lazy to take a photo.
Me today, my Aero FQHH Barnstormer, sorry no pics but got a "fin jakke" (nice jacket) comment from a random stranger which put a smile on the old dial.
Very nice topic!!
For this night i'd like to wear my late 70s Lee Storm Rider but maybe it will rain so i'll wear my favourite : my 1990 Schott Perfecto 618. I really love it, for me it's "the jacket". If i could i'd wear it even when i go to sleep. Sorry but i have no pics.
