Hey @Thuggee
Dug this out of the closet, and am wearing this well traveled Jacket today. I think it fits just fine, what do you think. Sure love Shinki.
Nice Happy Days. Vicenza is great leather too. Gotta scratch that itch when you start Jonesing.
Cheers,

Today it’s the Black Battle Axe Cal Leather again. My first cross zip and still fav.
Disney Camel Hair up top.
Thanks for the kind words and fit comments on the brown CL twin to this one. Was gonna sell it but i can live with 1” too short sleeves!
Be well. Bowen

Love the pointy collar & large lapel! V shaped back profile is athletic!

We have similar likings! I have one of these GB cowhide G2 too, love it. Love that bag too, what’s that? Looks Filson but don’t recognize the side pockets.

Hey @regius thanks; the bag is a Filson medium field bag. It’s been with me for 15 years!

Brown cowhide Vanson Gambler, great jacket, perfect for the first real Autumn day we’ve had so far.
I really like this jacket, it’s snug but very comfortable and quite heavy but very supple.
Lots of grain and very good quality overall.
Vanson rocks!
Awesome!! Had the one I had fit better I'd have never returned it. Beautiful jacket and perfect fit!

I bought this jacket after I saw the pic you posted about it.
I think you’ve done well in keeping looking though, in the sense that if you’re just gonna own one cross zip jacket, your brown bootlegger is THE cross-zip one to have.

Thanks man. I loved that brown cow hide tho. Really nice stuff. Grainy and super thick but easy to wear. You wear it well man. Cheers

Was killing time at the mall with my wife and daughter when I came upon the new Varvatos store . . . as I strolled through, a guy was speaking with the salesman about a $1,400 POS Varvatos leather jacket made out of comically thin leather . . . as I walked by, the guy contemplating the Varvatos POS jacket complimented my Good Wear Modoc and asked me who made it . . . thus began a 10 minute discussion of leather jackets, during which I explained how, for the same or less money, the guy could purchase an infinitely better jacket . . . I thought the salesman would be pissed but, to my surprise, as I walked away, he too complimented my jacket (even though I torpedoed his sale) . . . if you are reading this JC/Dave/Ken and a guy orders a jacket after telling you about a chance encounter at a Varvatos store, you owe me a commission :p.
