yesterday I recoated that pants for the second time in 3 years with acrylic varnish, purposefully made it not uniformly coated, looks kind of cool to me haha.
not much happening to the jacket since last time. this mobile cam app wants to smooth out details every time, good for face perhaps, horrible for jacket

AVI LTHR capeskin A-1:

Nice looking jacket! Just read the review and discussion on the Bronco by @Brettafett. Seems like a great quality for the money, or any money for that matter. Any comparison of the A-1 capeskin v A-2 Bronco? I like goat, and the new Russet Bronco looks very nice, but I also like the A-1 cut. I'm looking at a 44. Any experience on sleeve length? I often have to size up and have the shoulder drape to get the length I like.
Peace

I just purchased a 1998 “time-capsule” Willis & Geiger bush pilot jacket from a charity thrift clothing store (at a ridiculously low price). It’s brand new with the sales tag in the pocket along with a still-sealed escape whistle and spare button (the whistle is a relative rarity with these jackets, always missing from used jackets).
The hide is a super grainy, pebbly lambskin in an eye-pleasing mahogany russet brown.
Pockets are lined with moleskin.
This is one luxurious jacket!
As a collector of Willis & Geiger clothing, I’m very happy to add this to my closet!

Thank you sir. I don't have an A-2 Bronco, so I can't really make a comparison. The A-1 is a lighter capeskin, so if you're more into the weight of goat, this jacket may not be for you.

The sleeves of my A-1 are perfect for me. I bought a size 40. The sleeve is 23" (25.5" including the knit cuff).

Great fit and a great looking jacket. Is that an LL Bean sweater you have on under it? I ask because I'm wearing an LL Bean today with the same pattern in the knitting. Made in Norway.

Michael

Thank you. Yep, that's the LLB Norwegian fisherman's sweater I'm wearing. Same as yours, made in Norway.
