What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

My custom Vanson Model B courtesy of Carrie/Wade from Thurston Bros! I've had this jacket for about 1 year now and these are the first photos I've posted since I was waiting for it to be broken in more.

Changed the following from stock:
- Reduced shoulder width
- Added back length
- Changed the back yoke (to straight)
- Changed the hardware from brass to steel

Funny thing just happened at the gas station. Standing in line, kid in a CR turns around, looks me up and down, and says..”I like your style”. I said, nice CR. Guess there is hope for the future!! Ha Ha.
Today it’s Cal Leather with Knox Vagabond up top.

Wearing my Aero Teamster in midnight blue CXL.
This jacket doesn't get a lot of wear time for some reason. Every time I put it on though, I remember how awesome it is, and I kick myself for not wearing it more often.

That does fit great El Marro. Just curious as to the body length measurement.

Looking at this picture makes me reflect about how swiftly taste can change. I used to think Aeros CLX was the only brown hide I would ever want a jacket made from and I loved the way it quickly aged and showed scratches and the lighter brown under the topfinish so quickly.. I remember how you pointed out you disliked this tea core effect and much preferred dyed-through leather and I was irritated.

Now, just one or two years later, I'm wishing my brown clx jacket hadn't aged so quickly and I'm looking out for a LW HH jacket for their never-aging properties sake and I start to like dark brown jackets with less of a worn-effect to the hide as yours here much better...

Anyways, great fitting jacket and cool to see you are finding time to post again!

Not mine but I saw this on the Aero Leather Fun Page (there is such a thing) on Facebook. We don't see many pictures of cherry CXL. I still think this would look cool in a longer coat like a Barnstormer but I don't think I'd have the nuts to wear one.
