I knew this is Vanson when I saw the first pic! Awesome! It's somehow surprisingly tame. Much more so than some leather jacket. Perfectly wearable thing. Awesome patina and it looks really heavy.

Thanks man. Yeah it’s tame till you put it on or take it off. I really dig it. After i saw Tmitchell’s Cal Leather posted recently i just had to have one. Wella, one showed up first search in the bay, so destiny. It is suprisingly thick squeaky hide with a half liner and a fold back throat cover inside. Worn some, not much but damn sure will be! A glove should fit so well. Ha

And this little wool hat. Both are made in Germany about 20 kilometers from my house. The hat costs 10€ by the way. Made in Germany and 100% wool for an incredible price.)

Thanks. I think this is actually available as a standard model from Lost Worlds now. There were a couple customizations done by the guy who bought it new. I buy most of my jackets used and found this jacket on the classifieds here on the lounge.

These are wool serge USAF pants from 1949. I bought them on the bay in the US for 40$ including shipping.
You can always find such deals on these. They are so much better than any repro I’ve ever touched. And comfy as hell. But we’ll, yeah, they are grandpa pants.

Trust me, they are superb. You don’t even need a scarf. 100% merino wool, warm as a sweater can be. Way better and more wearable than the Dehen I have.
