I won't need it by 10:00 AM, but today my (new to me) vintage Golden Bear A-1 style jacket. Very soft brown leather (much darker than it appears in the pic), with leather collar, button front, and zipper that goes to the end of collar points. I have considered removing the zipper, but the second button is a little low for that and the look is starting to grow on me.

I can only dream of leather. Snow, ice, bitingly cold easterly blowing all the way from Siberia - too far north for the Urals to stop the bloody thing. It'll be parka weather for some time yet. Plus the driveway is an ice-rink, I need ice grippers on the boots just to make it to the car.

Office required a bit more of a formal wear these few days but I could still do it with a racer.

I'm wearing the same jacket I wear almost every day from December to March here in Hanoi - my US Authentic horse hide A2.
Tough as a brick and better than anyone else's jacket in town.

^ That's a really great fit, in my opinion. I know how tough it is to find stuff that fits properly on a tall thin shape. The jacket is a very nice design, normally I dislike denim but that's one that would tempt me.

Nick, what's the size of that Alpha B15 jacket, and what's your size? My sense is that these newer Alphas fit oversized. I assume yours has the removable collar.

Low 30s this morning brought out my IDF officer's jacket. It's kind of a B-15 meets MA-1.

No, it's all B15. The IDF has had some pretty cool jackets over the years, although not all of them are nice quality. I particularly like the cotton shell MA-1 jackets they had in the 1990s and early 2000s (as far as I can tell) which looked great as the cotton shell aged a bit, and were very tough and practical overall.
