Just arrived today; Sears Oakbrook-Steerhide Size 44. Nice little fuzzy lining. this one will get a good rub down with the Miracle Vasoline. Sellers father wore this jacket on his Triumph in the mid 60s.

Knee/shin protectors. I don't wear armored pants so these give some protection to my knees and shins.

Or, if you're referring to the flaps on the pants themselves, those are articulated knees that make it easier to bend ones legs. These were made by Ciano Farmer and that's one of the options he has available

I was trying to be clever with that question about the armour but I did wonder what the folds on the pants were, actually! So thanks! Never saw that feature before... Really nice helmet! I should update on that, too, my ancient Nolan is, well, ancient.
