60 in NY, too warm for February. Good weather to wear the Monarch, though.

Thanks! It's jungle cloth- waxed cotton

Interesting, not seen one like that before. I've just recently picked up a pair of Bronson A3s, one each in denim and HBT. Expect to find them handy travel companions in the Summer. Only been worn in the office so far on days the heating system failed; wouldn't trust them to outside Winter wear, but they kept things comfortable in a cold indoor setting. Should be great for getting through airports and long haul flying when I need to stow in a jacket pocket for convenience.

This is my favorite jacket of yours and in the top 5 all time I’ve ever seen. That collar is absolutely perfect. I love that this CHP is a little low key. SUPERB!
Thanks Tony, appreciate the comment. I like it very much too; I am constantly on the lookout for the same model with a label so we can know for 100% who made it. Monarch is a consensus from a dedicated thread, including Mr Sheeley's opinion.

Everyday since receiving it. I absolutely love this style. The next one should be a better fit. This one is a bit Tommy boy’d when buttoned. I’d love to get a third with enough room for Dena to put a quilted liner in. Something about this style really scratches my itch. Prefer it over my wool halfbelts.

Cool A2, who’s the maker? The plaid lining and the zip are nice.
thanks a lot. It's a Schott and 3 Sixteen collab. The most amazing leather out of all my jackets. They call it CXL, but it ain't. Maybe more like Lux. Has some stiffness and wax like the CXL, but much softer to touch, more pliable. Just perfect. Comes with a cool beige color snap on mutton collar too.

A couple of new additions - both custom orders from Aero - a Coastal Command Irvin in their pebbled merino shearling and a Shackleton with leather back in tobacco badalassi. Really delighted with these and already breaking in v nicely - the badalassi grain is emerging and the typical “wavy” moulding is taking shape. The Irvin is lighter than my Eastman ANJ4 so fills a gap rather than overlapping - the latter is for the really cold weather, the former then takes over as temperatures rise - both get equal wear at present in the UK. The Shackleton is really a very handy jacket - I wear it around the house at present but it also fits under the shearlings and also will be getting a lot of wear come the warmer months.
