Er 'arty' (yeah.... definitely not just back mirror in the block lift....) shot of today's jacket. Was going to wear my covert coat over a blazer, but when I took the hound out this morning it was a lot colder than I expected, so I went with knitwear and a TU jacket I picked up a few years ago which is wearing very well. (TU is UK supermarket Sainsbury's own brand for their clothes. Some surprisingly nice stuff if you're selective.) Cotton outer, poly sherpa lining. Light but remarkably warm - I have this one and another similar in blue; the blue came out the season after (2019, from memory), and is very slightly slimmer in fit, as often happens with these things.

@Will Zach wow I just checked and it is legitimately warmer today in New York than Socal... in February. That jacket fits you absolutely perfectly!
Thanks, I've been waiting for this Cal for about three years. Now all I need is an early tea core/brownish straight zip Cal in the same size...:). I am finding straight zips less "severe" than cross-zips if it makes sense.

Bit warmer with some wind— the greatest windbreaker I ever have owned. Sears Oakbrook. I’ve seen some Satin Twill Hercs and a Beck but never in good condition. I know other vtg makers made versions of their MC jackets in this stuff, just never seen them other than in books.
