Summer of 2022. Going dark.
German prewar jackets are my thing. Here is an original Luftwaffe jacket tailored in the early 1930s. Love to wear it casual.

It’s just a standard brown CXL that they stock.
Wow That looks like a gorgeous hide. Also looks more substantial than most a-2 leathers.Cold morning - time for a leather jacket

Bravestar Type III
Doesn’t get as much wear as my leathers but it’s a great jacket. 21.5 oz actually feels like a jacket, lighter weight denim often comes across as a thick shirt to me.

Where's the belt!? Please don't tell me you've cut it off. Some great grain on this Schott. View attachment 440850
Had my cobbler remove so it can still be re-attached, but it always got in the way with the jacket open.Where's the belt!? Please don't tell me you've cut it off.
Still probably 3 months out for any real wear! You know how these midwestern summers tend to stretch into October. I will say this is my third blk/brown vic jacket (one was just passing through as a proxy) and each time I’ve really liked it. While I’m. Not really a vic guy the blk brown is different. It’s far stiffer and just feels much more robust.^^ Really sharp there Tony, the Vicenza fits that jacket & style perfectly. Wear & Enjoy it there!
