They offered to do the remake of my Original Herc. with a YKK. Denny ordered them. Don’t know if that’s just a test or a regular option, but it sure appears to be a deviation from the „no zipper that holds up“ policy.

Thanks @dudewuttheheck, I saw your Bodie and that looks so good! It will eventually get the hot water treatment so I can shape it better and fold down the part where the inside of the collar and end of the zipper meet.

Finished another one. One imperfection at the final step, so livid. But the material is pretty good, Italian horse, tweed lining, inside pocket, NOS US made YKK with cotton tape, US made wool knits.
