Happy Sunday Gents! So where my college basketball fans at? A little March Madness attire today for this Kansas boy. Blue leather to represent my Jayhawks.

Looking great, man. Wish you and your team all the best.

Nice score on this, not your usual trim fit but still looks good on you, congrats.

Love this color depth, too bad you can't wear it for longer. Is it because of the cord lining?
Once it hits around 60 degrees I stop wearing jackets for the most part. Maybe denim if required but that temp is too warm for me in leather. I run really hot. Tbh anything above 50 and I just don’t like wearing leather.

Thanks man, it's nice to visit places with fresh snow once in a while but living with it is a whole different animal lol
I'm with you on this one. I like a bit of snow but I like to live in mild/warm weather preferably :)

One of my favourites in your outstanding collection. Not the original zipper any more, right?!

Correct. The little 5 Talon ended up in my hand when zipping it up. It all did. Dena expertly installed the 2-way and now it’s perfect imo.

So cool! Can't wait to get my CHP Cal from Mandarin. I'm not too keen on the belt loops though, can that be removed DIY? d

Easily. Just pull on the threads. I would keep them in case you want to install later or decide to sell the jacket. Include them in the sale. Real easy to put back on too. My local leather guy charges $5. Takes him minutes.

I didn't even ask about sizing. I just saw it and thought I'd be cool to have. So it's already a plus that I can wear it at all.

Definitely! You are really starting to collect them huh so cool.

+1 just cool enough to wear a leather jacket lol

Got it, I'll do that to remove the loops and keep them just in case I have to move on the jacket but I hope it's a keeper fit. Thank you.

Just got my midnight blue Primo HWM back from the 3rd zipper job. Another 150 Euro gone. Such a shame that Aero just won’t offer more sturdy hardware on their very sturdy hides.

I know. It really is the only thing that has kept me from an IR or Elvis. I love those jackets. I want them. But I’m too brutish with my zips.

View attachment 320084 Serious beater leather. On the left 60s miklos sas NYTP horsehide jacket (extremely heavy weight). On the right Oakbrook Sears D-Pocket with mutton collar.

Seriously cool picture. I had a Miklos, awesome jacket. But that Sears takes the cake. More cool pictures and more pics of that jacket por favor. My Oakbrook doesn’t have the patch pocket or the A1 epaulettes more commonly seen on the Hercs. And mouton to boot. Awesome.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been using this jacket as a sort of sizing benchmark, as it is pretty close in terms of what I want in terms of fit: slim enough to look fine with just a tshirt, can still zip up comfortably, and fit a thin midlayer for really chilly days.

I think it's a Straight to Hell jacket, a brand with not a ton of info about the leather. I have an assortment of a few other TFL-famous brands, but I still go back to this consistently for fit
