I have noticed that there a Hat in the movies thread while there is no Hat is the TV series or TV programs thread and thought it deserved his own thread.
I have talked about the TV series " Homestead Rescue " some time ago.
Obviously the hats are an important thing is these reality TV show .
The 3 characters Marty, the father, Matt , son, and Misty, daughter (there is a theme there), have all headgear . Matt wears a cap ( iconoclast!) and the other two hats.
Marty Raney has a signature hat whereby the with a very peculiar fold of his brim ( and the shirt is another signature).
These hats are apparently made by stetson they are nothing special , really, considering the abuse he puts his hats through and they are often stained with mud (and replaced courtesy by Stetson)
Misty wore a number of different hats in the show and some were certainly not expensive hats .
However recently she started sporting a Nick Fouquet hat (as far as I can see it must be a " custom" model) with the signature match in the hatband .
Well this is quite something! Nick Fouquet hats don't come cheap!
I personally don't understand them and why would someone produce a perfectly good hat and then cut it, stitch it or burn it. She has some distress on the hat which shows some nibbles (rats? for a rat-look?) around the brim.
