Still wearing the Sheene. Brought it along on my 2 week work trip and am really happy the way it’s breaking in. Looks like an old Wilson baseball glove I used as a kid.

It has been raining for what seems like weeks, and I really need to get out of the house and down to the beach as soon as the sun comes out.
I noticed that my GW Arcadia Shinki has a sort of dark red tone in some light, so I had to match it with my black cherry hat and black cherry boots. OY Vey!

So easy to wear, carry in the hand and toss around.

really nice. I've been spying a few vests lately. Aero has a couple of those outlaw ones that really tempt me. When sizing, are you going by usual ptp or going tighter since you have more manueverability? Trying to figure out with a 42 chest, do I just get 21 ptp, or still need to leave a little room? I'm guessing bottom hem is probably more important measurement with something like this.

Ive always wondered if I should size down on a vest but figured that I wouldn’t want the chest to feel too tight at the chest if the vest is buttoned or zipped. So I stayed with my regular P2P measurement as any other jacket. It worked out well.

ah cool. good to know. The stuff I'm looking at is shearling too, so I guess I have to adjust for that. But seems like Aero really sizes down automatically. Because a size 40 vest for instance seems tight-21 ptp, whereas some of their jacket styles would have a 22 ptp or more. So that's where I get confused. If I would have ordered a 40 normally on some of there jacket models, should I still be ordering a 40 in vest? Or go up?

Anyway, when I get serious about it, I'll probably ping them before hand for their thoughts. Some just sold, but they still have a 42. Wondering since winter is basically over if they'll shift gears, so might be last chance to buy one in stock.

When buying a jacket, always go by the actual measurements, not by the size on the label. The size on the label gets you into the neighborhood, but the actual measurements get you to the house you want. But some neighborhoods are enormous. Aero, in particular, has very enormous and variable sizes between labels. Look at the measurements.

Very nice and thick lancer jacket, by Australian maker A&P from Melbourne.
One of the thickest heaviest I’ve ever found!
Unfortunately it’s a catch and release, this one being too snug for me.
(Will fit a 42/ small 44)
Pm if interested, or soon in the classified for 150$+shipping (60$)

1950s Lawrence FQHH, with mouton collar made by Johnson Leathers. The mouton is actually gray, it may not appear so in the pics.

that's awesome. Ever since Ton posted that brownish gray 5 Star color, I've been hankering to get a collar like that. What does JL charge to craft a mutton collar? There's been times I've almost bought a Cal just for the collar LOL.

And there it is!! Because of this jacket I have to wade through countless Johnny Lawrence jackets on eBay. The leather, the back config, the studs on the epaulets, the long sleeve zips and zip placement, the huge patch pocket with the vertical pocket, etc., etc., etc. What a jacket!

I'm interested. The same as the Mars jacket I foolishly sold. Super cool. Will PM now but I think our chest measurements are close and it may be tight on me too.
