What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I've found if I cuff my jeans the edges where it is cuffed tend to fray really fast for me. I normally try and anticipate the inseam so I don't have to cuff after a soak (personally for me I prefer an uncuffed style as well.) Though honestly I've mostly stopped buying raw and opt more for one-wash to avoid the problem entirely.

I know exactly what you mean. When I cuff them I try different lengths when I roll them to avoid the fraying. But it'll eventually happen. I also buy the one wash to help with sizing consistency.

Great pick up! TRM Buco J24 is definitely my favorite jacket I own. Hope I don’t ever get a chance to try on the J24L because I’ve always like the look of the multon collar and could use the extra inch in the body length.

FL Brown full aniline shinki cafe racer. Sleeves are a little short after creasing, entirely my fault as I didn't account for it when I ordered the jacket.

I think the sleeves still go well with the jacket because they are tight enough. if the cuff were wider, they would optically probably be too short.

Been abusing this older Schott, trying to get some wear lines and scuffs on the seams. Think it's turning out great. Has become my go to jacket. Really easy to wear even though the measurement numbers are on the tighter side of my usual range.

This looks absolutely great. I can see why it's your grab n go jacket.

Unseasonably warm weather allowed me to enjoy my trophy again, whilst my daughter is enjoying that fact that she can now ride her bike: wearing a mini shearling biker: leather jackets and cycling (possibly the wrong thread!)

Got it, I'm getting the 18-19 oz black indigo. I don't know what the best length is for me yet. You tend to fold selvage right, so it depends what fold style you would use. I recently got one in 32" inseam and I was able to fold it 3x to get to the desired cuff look.

I got a 5* recently I think it's 21oz or whatever, I had to size up to a 32" waist band because my true size was too much on the thighs too lol im thinking I could shrink the waist band if I Dunk it in hot water for a bit. Bad stupid idea?

Aside from being a fantastic looking jacket, this is my favorite kind of drape, if there even such a thing. But it just makes the jacket look so comfortable. But deerskin plays a huge part in that, too.

I was going to say that the softness and weight of the deerskin makes it drape extremely well. But that pattern is amazing on the right person.

Thanks guys. I do think the deerskin is a major part of it along with the pattern of course. The deerskin and liner combination makes this jacket so ridiculously comfortable that I still get surprised by the comfort every time that I wear it. It's also the jacket that I own that is the closest to being "too big." I don't think it's actually too big, but it is a little longer, wider, and slouchier than my other jackets. With the deerskin, I think this works. It makes me feel more laid back when wearing it because of the slightly larger fit, deerskin, and liner. With that, it still looks more laid back... of course I just ruined all that casualness by over-analyzing all of this, but that's why we're here, isn't it?

Good memory. I did and i’m glad i got over it.

And a wise move too! All this drooling over that one "it-piece" that´s just a bit too pricey to justify buying it. After investing three times that much in compromise pieces that just don´t quite do it, I usually end up investing in "the right stuff". Might as well cut that short in the future.

BTW: Perfectly understand that you had that delieverd to your workplace. I would have called in sick to lay my hands on it the second the courier rings at my doorbell...

Torfjord knows what makes a perfect jacket so of course his jacket can only keep on giving. I already have commented on it before and it only keeps getting cooler. Couldn't work any better for you. Just everything about it is right. It's a rock band Grizzly!
