I’ve a million thought i need to Put in order to be able to make a proper review. I did get my first complement on it within 30 minutes though

I get it, i like to wear a jacket for at least a week or two before i write anything about it. I want the honeymoon to be over...
I look forward to your review when it comes.

Edit: you should look for a used JH-1, it would really suite you too.

I haven't yet looked up railcar but that might be a good idea. Are they true to size? The black indigo 19oz jeans look great

No its vanity sizing. I'm a 30in true waist and wear a 28. Their website list all the dimensions and they show up as listed. I have two pairs and they fit exactly the same. Great denim

Got it, we are the same waist size then. I'm anywhere between 29-30 depending on the time of day lol I think I'll order a pair from them

Im the same brotha. 29 or 30. Let me know what you think of them. Btw, if you know your inseam they will chain stitch them for free. Just put your inseam in the notes of your order.

Love denim. I've got some momotaro and a couple PBJ's that I love as well. Raleigh Denim workshop makes some cool stuff. I think Bravestar are a great value. Unfortunately I can't wear them anymore from working out.

Got it, I'm getting the 18-19 oz black indigo. I don't know what the best length is for me yet. You tend to fold selvage right, so it depends what fold style you would use. I recently got one in 32" inseam and I was able to fold it 3x to get to the desired cuff look.

I got a 5* recently I think it's 21oz or whatever, I had to size up to a 32" waist band because my true size was too much on the thighs too lol im thinking I could shrink the waist band if I Dunk it in hot water for a bit. Bad stupid idea?

Yeah I cuff my jeans. I mean whats the point of being quality selvedge denim if you aint going to show it off lol.

I've actually had to hot soak a couple pair to tighten up the waist. It works for a while until they stretch out with wear. Just throw them in a tub.

What size jacket do you wear? Might have to buy some items off you if you're ever selling haha

Back off bro I already called dibs on @Jin431 haha. It’s nice to have some people around my size, I spent a few years around here with no one to trade/sell with really.

I've found if I cuff my jeans the edges where it is cuffed tend to fray really fast for me. I normally try and anticipate the inseam so I don't have to cuff after a soak (personally for me I prefer an uncuffed style as well.) Though honestly I've mostly stopped buying raw and opt more for one-wash to avoid the problem entirely.

True, I'll most likely do the same as it's just a little flex for what it's worth haha

Got it, nice to know that can be done. It's my first foray with selvage denim so still treading water with it.

Generous 34 or True 36 or slim 38 for sizing. Sweet spot would be between 19.75-20.25 chest depending on leather, 17-17.5 shoulder depending on leather, 17.75-18 hips depending on leather. I think you have a broader chest/shoulder from what I can tell with your shangrila jacket.

There goes my slim buddies hahaha it really is nice to have people who have a similar built or at least close.
