Thanks for the heads up. I have a jacket incoming with 27.5" sleeves and is a center-zip style, with zip-sleeves. Right up this alley. It's on my plan to eventually visit Langlitz in person as well!
I just want to see you hit one out of the park! You are due for a good one

Exceptional leather on this seldom seen style. How old is this jacket? A very nice fit too.
Thanks, Terry. I’m the second or third owner but it was rarely worn before it got to me. I’ve had it about 6 months and have been putting some wear into it. Got caught in some showers once and that ended up doing the trick to break it in exponentially. Also had the sleeves slimmed down by Dena at Great Leather and love the more modern fit.

Thanks Terry. Still props to @Monitor with his LW Ryder vest lighting the fire for me :)

I forgot to comment yesterday how seeing you in this vest makes me realize mine has to go. I look comical in it now, how gigantic it is... This sort of garment only looks great - and absolutely fantastic, in your case - when in the right size. Size off, it's bad.

Yours is really like a sleeveless Ryder jacket. Mine is more like waistcoat with Ryder design.

Can’t you wear yours on top of more stuff? Or do you feel like even if it had sleeves it’d be too large to be a jacket you’d wear?

Edit: I never shared this photo because I thought it looked ridiculous. I wanted to wear it on top of my Type III and this was the result, vest way too short compared to the jacket length (though if someone thinks different I’d be curious as to why)

Don’t you wear yours over a Type III sometimes?

Hmm side by side i can clearly see the sleeve has gotten longer after it got rained on and worn to dry 2 days ago. I cant wear my watch now while before it can fit efortlessly after the sleeve ends. Not sure if it really stretch of just the leather relaxed after more broken in from wearing it from wet till dry.
