Schott 641HH for today's 100 K's Harley ride south on the coast. Bikes parked up on the kerb under the flame trees.
8C when we left , max of 19C on the way home. Warm jacket required of course.
No Indian Ocean in the backdrop but it is just off to the right the other side of that two way blacktop !

cool! the cap is magical, don't you suddenly feel to build entire outfit to support it.

so far after I bought that cap, I have bought 2 turtleneck sweaters, 1 crew neck sweater, 4 corduroy pants and 2 striped tshirt:D:eek::confused: just by sheer will I hold myself back from overcoat since it would be complete nut in my climate.

That's the thing & you get it! I put on the cap yesterday and realized, nah, my stupid jeans x leather combo doesn't work. I need to think of something else. Now I need thick turtleneck sweaters and... I don't even know what kind of pants I need!

Like @ton312 I'm a sucker for rust suede, so I picked up this vintage used second-hand NOS suede and knit shawl collar piece earlier this summer:

Not a huge fan of the double d-rings on the chest pockets, but the price was right and it's unique. No tags to be found anywhere but kind of has a retro vibe to it.
Shawl collared type II sweater! I love that! Rust suede is the best suede.

you mean a taxi driver or chauffeur? :(

No, I mean an old farmer, old Highschool teacher, not under 60yo, or a retired, lower ranked officer, bricklayer foreman ...as especially this suede version has been and still is THE prototypical Babbitt‘s nightcap of the „German Michel“ since at least the 60s of last century...;)

Standard bohemian look of the 1960's.
