What type of leather is that? Looks amazing on you!

@North_Star, the Moonshiner jacket is made from Kudu leather

Cool jacket. Is it made from Kudu and is it very heavy and heavier than Horween CXFQHH? Is Kudu still available at Aero?

@Robbie79 Yes this is a Kudu leather jacket, Im not sure if Aero still use it. This one turned up on the sale pages about a year ago.. I was more interested in getting a Moonshiner than getting a Kudu jacket.. Im happy with it though, it is a "heavy" jacket but soft and velvety to the touch.

Damn that's cool! Lots of character in that. Reminds me of what naked cow looks like when it's been exposed to sun for 50 years. Awesome!

The Kudu is lovely leather. I’ve a few pairs of Trickers shoes and boots in it. Very soft and tough and requires no real maintenance, ie polish.

Alan has had it for 3 weeks today...hopefully I get a shipping notice soon. I was told 10 days but that time frame has long passed. Natural shearling, like a big toasted marshmallow right on top! It'll be like getting a new jacket!

I may be just as excited as you are. Eventually I will own another Cal straight zip.

I think thats a long sleeve record! Seriously - thats a nice jacket but if there is one thing that ruins the look of a jacket its ........

By design. He seems to be wearing this Californian Sportswear movie jacket with the same generous sleeve length as Bruce Willis wears his.
