Big day! Got one of my favorite Peterson pipes back from having a new stem fit. This ones prob from 1950s so I'm thrilled to get it back into rotation. Headed out back with an old fashioned and a 70's Stetson Royal Temple

Correction...the pipe is marked "made in Eire" so that puts at 1948 at the latest. Sitting on a newly acquired piece of Stetson Silverplate

Wearing a, new to me, not quite Vintage, Stetson Sovereign made for Eddie Bauer. It is a decent unlined hat with vent holes and a 3" brim. I cleaned it up a little, needs a little more, and put a little shape in the brim. Should make a decent beater hat.

Celebrated 28 years with Etsuko on Sunday (and continued through Tuesday). I took two Hornskovs down to the South of Wakayama. Etsuko took her favourite Akubra Leisure Time.

That burgundy Stylemaster looks familiar. Better check I still have. Great outfits and hats plus location.

Thank you Mark, its actually a pretty decent hat as long as you keep in mind when it was made.

The coat is from Wested Leather which they do a bit of making leather items for the movie and TV industry. This is a style they made for Das Boat but in Kriegsmarine grey. It also appear in lambskin for one of the doctors in Doctor Who.

They do a standard size block which you adjust the back and sleeve length. This one is in black bovine and maximum back length almost the longest sleeve length.

Great products at a reasonable price especially given you know you are getting top quality leather. If anyone is going for a leather I can highly recommend the shrunken lambskin. If you are motorbike rider (which I am not) the horse leather is incredibly thick and strong. I choose cow because that is what the germans used.

I think you’re referring to my black cherry Hornskov Emmisary. I love my Stylemasters, but they don’t hold a candle to a beaver Hornskov. You have a burgundy Stylemaster? I’ve never heard of that before. I’d love to see it..
