Today's lid is a John. B. Stetson Playboy in Ice Silver...first one I've seen in this color. I believe it is an early Playboy as it has an embroidered liner with stars in the crest & stamped on the sweatband. It came in a Stetson winter scene storage box which is a nice addition too !

My butterscotch Borsalino at the beach yesterday

The combination with the Thedi Hektor in cognac seemed to work. I received more comments all day yesterday than in the last several months combined. I was called a cowboy, Indiana Jones (first time for that), homeless guys commented, etc LOL

headed out this morning in a resurrected Knox 15. Sweat was toast and the liner was all stained. Sewed in a new sweat and saved the old sweatband logo when I put the new liner in. Wherever this poor hat was stored before coming to me, there were evidently LOTS of moths. Its a beautifully soft felt and wears nicely, not hard to overlook the moth nibbles
