Cold today with temps in the mid 20s and are expected to hover in the teens the next couple of days. Puttering around the house with my His Excellency World's Premier Hat to keep the winter blahs at bay...that's the ticket !!
I did step out on the front porch briefly and that was enough outside activity for me.
* Y'all stay warm and be safe !

You wear it well Nathan... "humburg" it is !Great hats. My His Excellency is among my favorites and most unique. I removed the brim binding and pinched the brim into a fedora style. As one Lounger called it many years ago, a "humburg"
These photos are from last year, although come this time next month, I should be home digging into the collection again...
Stay warm!

Thank you sir !9 is not very many!!! Stay warm, keep healing, and kudos on that AWESOME hat, Timmy!
I always thought some of the Alesandrias looked similiar but most that Ive seen have a wider ribbon.
Nice job Rick... you are a man of many talents !Most of Mr Bear's hats were a Taupe but there were a few Greens and Browns over the years. He evidently got all his hats at Henry the Hatter in Detroit and used to give hats away to business associates who visited him. I got him to sign my Bear Tamerline target bow at an event in Cobo Hall in Detroit back about 1975, but I never got a hat lol. Closest Ive ever got was a couple Moose Rivers and a Three Forks.

Ive had this old Moose River since about 1980 and added brim binding this year so its a fairly close copy except for no wind cord and the addition of my ribbon and bow View attachment 675377
