This time of year East Texas is entertaining... a light snow flurry and "OMG the worlds coming to an end!" and the grocery shelves are emptied lol.

First Sunday of 2025. So here are the hats of the week, same as in 2024.

Thanks, Bob. They share the lighter ribbon contrasting with the darker felt. Thanks Stefan! This is the third one of the Raw Hide Felts (a Byer-Rolnick product) that I’ve handled and I really like them. Fortunately two of the three fit me.
I’m going to have to go with the “Cowboy” with your offerings this week.
Thanks, Don.Another great line up!
That's a rocking introduction to 2025, Stefan! I'm going with the Wehrmeier in first place (that brim binding and over-stitching!!), the Barbisio Cow Boy in second. and the Portis in third. Thanks for another awesome Sunday morning display!First Sunday of 2025. So here are the hats of the week, same as in 2024.

Quite a nice-looking hat, as you've cleaned it up, Rick. Well done!A warm 65 degrees with pretty decent thunderstorm and rain to start the day... Cold front on the way later today (freezing by nightfall) possibility of some snow Thursday. Going to be a really chilly week coming up. This time of year East Texas is entertaining... a light snow flurry and "OMG the worlds coming to an end!" and the grocery shelves are emptied lol. I fondly remember some of the mornings up in the Pacific Northest waking up to 18-20 inches of heavy wet snow dumped overnight. Guess Ill be transitioning into the Akubras for a few days.
Today we have one of the "Sad, Filthy, Crushed Ebay Mutts" going out for errands. Have it pretty well cleaned up and actually lookng like a hat again. Nothing inside except for the size tag so I really dont know what it originally was. Just a simple Royal Stetson with a shorter 2-1/4" brim. Brim still has a bit of a mind of its own, so there will be a bit more steaming and ironing. But it fits well enough, and has a short enough brim to be a good windy weather hat

As always, Robert, you are the epitome of debonair.View attachment 670831
The Tonak Jota is a striking colour Stefan, but I do keep getting draw back to The Mallory. You make Sunday's such an enjoyable problem.

Sunday, being Sunday, is always what my late mother-in-law described as: Best bib & tucker day.
Fox Tailoring made the suit. former Lounger Simon Cathcart did the shoes and John B, The Sovereign.
Nearly overlooked the credit that Tina made the spearpoint collar shirt.
That's a beauty, Don!
Woot! Lookin' good, Rob.
Thanks Stefan. Certainly not a daily wear styling for me. But fun none the less. Speaking of interesting creases… With Season 3 of The Traitors (US) premiere soon.. may have to break out my Alan Cummings tribute “butt crease” Dunn and Co.Lovely hat, Joe. Still have to get used to that crease though.
Here we go! Huckel #1 grabbed my eye… not that Huckel #2 is any slouch. But that Portis is one I wait for!First Sunday of 2025. So here are the hats of the week, same as in 2024.

That is one hell of a hat, Mark. Looks great!!Today's wear is also my newest: a Nutria Quality Stetson, in stunning bluish-grey. 3” brim, 6.5” open crown (4.5” as creased now), and a 2-ply band. It’s nearly mint, and features the lining with a red-shirted, mounted, cowboy, whose horse is kicking up a cloud of dust.
I don’t generally care for “brim up all around” shapings, but at least for now, I’m going to honor this one’s heritage by leaving it as is. In honor of the lining, I think I’ll call this one “Dusty.”
