What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Sigma Foulard" "Seal Velour" possibly late 1920s early 1930s. The close cropped black Velour is really fantastic with very high gloss and is light in weight. This hat was restored by Optimo back in 2009.

This is from a couple of years ago. A way too small Borsalino that I rebuilt and blocked up to my size. Also a before and after pic. It sports a wide 3 inch snap brim.

My "lowrider" Dodger hat. Lowrider hats were an invention of the Mexican lowrider crowd in L.A. way back when. See https://www.frankshatsgarciahats.com/

Pic is not today but an earlier visit to Dodger Stadium.

I actually think this thing looks pretty lame and I bought it on a whim a few years ago and have only worn it a couple times. Today is Game 4 of the World Series and if my Dodgers win today they win the series. I grew up in L.A., worked part-time at Dodger Stadium as a teen, and I'm a huge Dodger fan.

I started tilling the garden. Too warm and I was worried I would hurt my cap so I changed to an old ball cap. One garden and leaf relocation chores completed. Back to other head gear (caps and hats).

Cheers, Eric -
Eric, I try not to get too jealous of your posts but that Bantam is fantastic, especially the vents! Thanks for sharing.

Tina has treated us to a James Bond soirée. Rather than download the tickets I am off to the box office later, to buy them. It's not far, it gives the MG an airing and I get to pose in one of John B's finest Sovereigns.
