Thank you Captain Rob, looking good, I am really happy that you like the hat that I made for you, seeing your post makes me want to make another hat. I will be making another Indy in Grey starting next week, I am waiting on a block that I ordered, I am trying to improve on the hats that I make. The Grey Indy Fedora that the USPS lost looked perfect in the way it was bashed, but I am sure that there are places for improvement. Always learning and always open for any suggestions on improving the way that I make hats. Everything is done by hand, so I know every stitch that was made in the hats that I make. Just give me a little time and I will have another grey finished and ready for shipping.

So I am out with my wife out of town and we see a hat store. We stroll in and I am wearing a scally cap and I see a Strata Outback in my size. I try it on, way too big. I try next size down, still on the roomy side but close enough I figured why not grab it. I thought I was not a western style guy. We don’t always know until we know, you know.

I love seeing all these Stetsons, Mallorys and Knoxes, sadly my giant 7/7/8 (US) head is too big for much choice in Vintage, but thankfully there are some great Hatmakers in business still, here is me again just back from church in my Hufvud Camel, whippet Fedora.

A few days ago I posted pix of my Open Crown American Hat Company Black wide brim western style hat. I was waiting on a 3/8" pencil curl tool for the brim and a nice hatband to replace the plain one that came on the hat. Yesterday both arrived in the mail and I'm pleased to show y'all the results.
